Biscuit Mix - Buttermilk
Directions:
Pour 1 cup water in mixing bowl and add 1 lb biscuit mix. Mix on low speed 30 seconds. Scrape bowl and paddle. Mix on low speed for 30 seconds. Do not overmix. Place dough on floured surface. Dust dough with flour and pat out gently. Fold all edges to center. Roll dough to form a smooth roll, do not kneed. Divide dough into useable sizes. Roll out each piece of dough to desired thickness (1/2” thickness recommended). Place biscuits close together on lightly greased pan. Bake at 450 ºF for 11-13 minutes.
Enriched Bleached Flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), Vegetable Shortening ([contains one or more of the following: canola and/or palm oil], Leavening (sodium aluminum phosphate, baking soda), Buttermilk, contains 2% or less of each of the following: Salt, Sugar, Calcium Carbonate, Monoglycerides.
